Lazard Acquires Campbell Lutyens, Forms Lazard CL Advisory Unit
Lazard completes its Campbell Lutyens deal and launches Lazard CL, positioning the combined firm as a global private capital advisory leader.
Lazard, Inc. finalized its acquisition of Campbell Lutyens on Nov. 2, 2026, and simultaneously unveiled Lazard CL, a newly branded global private capital advisory business, the New York- and London-based firm announced Monday. The deal, first disclosed on April 30, 2026, marks one of the more significant consolidation moves in the private capital advisory space in recent years.

Private capital markets have expanded rapidly, driven by institutional appetite for alternative assets, and firms with global reach and deep relationships across both general partners and limited partners are increasingly positioned as essential intermediaries.

The combined platform is expected to serve both fund managers seeking capital and institutional investors navigating an increasingly complex alternatives landscape.
